What is JPG / PNG to PDF Converter?

A JPG and PNG to PDF converter takes one or many pictures and places each one on its own page of a PDF document. PDF is the format people trust for sharing: it opens the same way on every phone and computer, keeps pages in order and is accepted by almost every office, school and government portal. Typical uses include scanned certificates, signed forms, receipts, photographed notes, ID proofs and portfolio pages. Instead of emailing a dozen loose pictures, you send one tidy file that you have arranged and sized exactly the way you want.

How Does It Work?

When you press Create PDF, your browser loads a small PDF library and processes the pictures one at a time. Each picture is straightened using its own orientation data, rotated if you asked, scaled to your chosen quality, and then placed on a page of the size and orientation you selected, with the margin you picked. The pages are assembled into a single file that you can download or open. Everything happens on your own device. Your pictures are never uploaded or stored on a server, so private documents such as identity cards stay private.

How to Use It

  1. Drop your JPG, PNG or WebP pictures onto the box, or click it to choose them.
  2. Arrange the pages by dragging them, or use the up and down arrows. Rotate any picture that is sideways.
  3. Choose the page size (A4 or US Letter), the orientation, the margin and the picture quality.
  4. Type a file name, then press Create PDF and watch the progress bar.
  5. Press Download PDF to save it, or Open to check it in a new tab first.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make the PDF file smaller?

Choose the Smaller file quality, which shrinks large photos before they are added. You can also compress the pictures first with the Image Compressor. Phone photos are often far bigger than a printed page needs.

Will my pictures be stretched or cropped?

No. Each picture is scaled to fit inside the page and its margins while keeping its original shape, and it is centred. With Auto orientation, wide pictures get a landscape page so that they fill more of it.

Why is a photo shown sideways?

Use the rotate button on that page to turn it by 90 degrees until it looks right. The tool already corrects the orientation saved by most phone cameras, but some scans carry no orientation data.

Does it keep transparent PNG backgrounds?

Transparent areas are filled with white, because pages in this PDF are made from flattened pictures. This keeps the result looking the same on every viewer.

Are my pictures uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is built entirely inside your browser, and nothing is sent to any server. Closing or refreshing the page removes your pictures and the finished PDF from memory.
