What is PDF to JPG Converter?

A PDF to JPG converter turns the pages of a PDF document into ordinary picture files. That is handy when you need to paste a page into a presentation, share a certificate on a messaging app, attach a scan to a form that accepts only images, or post a page of a brochure online. A JPG opens everywhere, from phone galleries to image editors, and is easy to crop or annotate. This tool renders each page as a sharp picture, lets you pick the resolution and the pages you want, and packs the whole set into a ZIP when you need it.

How Does It Work?

When you choose a PDF, your browser loads a PDF reading library and opens the document to count its pages. Pressing Convert draws each selected page onto an invisible canvas at the resolution you chose, on a white background, and saves that canvas as a JPG. Pages appear one by one as they finish, with a progress bar. If a PDF is protected by a password, the tool asks for it and unlocks the file locally. Everything runs inside your browser. The PDF and the pictures are never uploaded or stored on a server.

How to Use It

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box, or click it to choose one. Enter the password if the file asks for it.
  2. Pick a resolution. 150 dpi suits reading on screen, and 300 dpi suits printing.
  3. Choose the JPG quality, and type a page range such as 1-3, 5 if you do not want every page.
  4. Press Convert to JPG and wait while the pages are drawn. You can press Stop at any time.
  5. Download a single page with its own button, or press Download all as ZIP.

Frequently Asked Questions

What resolution should I choose?

Use 150 dpi for pictures that will be read on a screen or sent in chat, and 300 dpi for printing. Higher resolutions give sharper text but larger files and take longer, especially for big pages.

Why does the tool ask for a password?

The PDF is encrypted, so its pages cannot be drawn without the password. Type it in and press Unlock PDF. The tool cannot recover or remove a forgotten password.

What does it mean if a PDF is damaged?

The file is incomplete or corrupted, often from an interrupted download or email. Download or export it again from the original source, then try once more.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type a range such as 2-4 or 1, 3, 7 into the Pages box before you convert. Leave it empty to convert the whole document.

Is my PDF sent to a server?

No. The document is opened and drawn entirely in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. When you close or refresh the page, the document and the pictures are cleared from memory.
