Capitals and Shift, level 20 of 40
Level 20: Capitals, question marks and colons
Add the question mark and the colon: both are typed with Shift and the right pinky.
- To pass: 95% accuracy and 23 WPM
- Free to use
- Runs in your browser
What you will learn
Two more keys need Shift. The question mark is Shift with the slash key, and the colon is Shift with the semicolon key. Both are pressed by the right pinky, so hold the left Shift key with your left pinky.
The sentences in this level mix questions, answers and lists, along with the capitals you have practised. It completes the first half of the course.

Tips for this level
- You already know the slash and semicolon keys. The only new part is holding Shift with the other pinky.
- Leave one space after a question mark or a colon, as you do after a period.
- When you pass this level, the first 20 levels are done and the number row comes next. Well done.
