Capitals and Shift, level 19 of 40
Level 19: Capitals with both hands
Use both Shift keys in real sentences full of names and places.
- To pass: 94% accuracy and 21 WPM
- Free to use
- Runs in your browser
What you will learn
Real text mixes capitals from both hands, so you need both Shift keys. The rule never changes: hold the Shift key on the opposite side from the letter you are about to type.
These sentences are full of names, cities and months. Aim for a smooth, steady rhythm, and keep the Shift presses short.
Practise level 19
Tips for this level
- Decide which Shift to use from the letter that follows, not from the one you just typed.
- Capitals at the start of a sentence are the most common, so practise those first.
- Check the result screen for the keys you missed and notice whether they are mostly capitals.
