Numbers row, level 21 of 40
Level 21: Digits 4, 5, 6 and 7
Reach up to the number row with your index fingers: 4 and 5 on the left, 6 and 7 on the right.
- To pass: 92% accuracy and 14 WPM
- Free to use
- Runs in your browser
What you will learn
The number row sits above the top row. Each digit is reached by the same finger that types the letters below it. Your left index finger presses 4 and 5, and your right index finger presses 6 and 7. They are the digits closest to the middle of the keyboard, so they make the easiest start.
Reach up from F for 4 and 5, and from J for 6 and 7, then come back to the home keys. Digits are slower than letters for everyone, so the targets in this part of the course start lower than they were at level 20.

Tips for this level
- Keep your other fingers on the home row while one finger reaches up two rows.
- Look at the screen, not your hands. The highlighted key on the keyboard shows where the digit is.
- Numbers are often typed in groups, so aim for a steady rhythm rather than a burst of speed.
