Level 26: Quotes and exclamation marks
Add quotation marks and exclamation marks, both typed with Shift and a pinky.
- To pass: 93% accuracy and 18 WPM
- Free to use
- Runs in your browser
What you will learn
Quotation marks are Shift with the apostrophe key: the right pinky presses the key and the left pinky holds the left Shift key. The exclamation mark is Shift with the 1 key: the left pinky reaches up to 1 and the right pinky holds the right Shift key.
The rule from level 17 still applies: hold Shift with the hand opposite the key. Quotes come in pairs, so type the opening mark, the words, then the closing mark without stopping.

Tips for this level
- Both of these are Shift keys pressed by a pinky, so expect them to feel slow at first.
- Press Shift a moment before the key, and release both together.
- Look at the hint above the keyboard. It names the finger for the key and the finger for Shift.
