How the score works
Your score is the number of words typed correctly in 60 seconds. Your speed in words per minute and your accuracy are shown beside it.
Tips for a higher score
- Keep your eyes on the word after the one you are typing. Reading ahead is what keeps a rhythm steady.
- Do not stop to fix a small slip if you can type on, but remember a word with a wrong letter does not count.
- Race the ghost marker. If it is ahead of you, speed up gently; a calm pace you can hold beats a sprint you cannot.
